SESSION #1
IMPROV WORKSHOP
July 13 – July 17
9:30am – 12:30pm
Grades 8-12
The Level II Improv class is for actors between 8th and 12th grades. The class focuses on storytelling, games, improvisation, and imagination.
Students will participate in morning warm-ups, explore a new theater game everyday, work both individually and in groups creating new stories and characters. The goal of the workshop is to develop an understanding of the long-form “Harold” technique.
The class will take a field trip to see an improv performance at The 2nd City in West LA on Wednesday night, have daily email and photo updates, and culminate in a long-form improvisation performance for friends and family Friday afternoon.

MUSICAL THEATER WORKSHOP
July 20 - July 24
9:30am-12:30pm
Grades 8-12
This one week workshop introduces student to the art of musical theater
performance. Classes begin with a physical and vocal warm-up, designed for all skill levels. Students will practice basic dance choreography, acting a song, and learn one song to be performed at the end of the week. This year's selections will be taken from "A Chorus Line," "Caroline, or Change," and "A Year with Frog and Toad."
Each class has a musical accompanist as well as acting coach. Space limited to 12 students.

MOVIE MAKING 101
July 27 – July 31
9:30am- 4:00pm
Grades 8-12
Learn the ropes to movie making during our two week workshop 201 workshop. This course introduces students to Final Cut Pro, digital camera work, lighting and sound equipment, and the very special language that makes a movie set run. The class works together to create their very own film, to be screened at the end of the summer.
Each participant will have a role in writing, producing, filming, and editing their project. Meant to challenge all levels of interest, this course is a full day camp, 9:30a.m. - 4:00pm
