SESSION #1

IMPROV WORKSHOP

July 19 – July 23    
10:00am– 1:30pm  
  

  This workshop focuses on the art of improvisational comedy, but will develop storytelling, imagination, and teamwork. Students will participate in morning warm ups, learn eight new games, and perform a half hour improvised “Harold” for family and friends at the end of the course.  Improv Workshop features an evening field trip to see live

improv at the 2nd City in Hollywood on the third day.  This workshop is sure to book up, so reserve a seat today!    ................... $200

 

 

 

Session #2

Shakespeare Workshop

July 26-30th

10:00 am-1:30pm

 

This course is led by Mr. Martin Jago: actor, director, teacher, author, and expert in all-things-Shakespeare.  For intermediate to advanced performers, students will learn techniques to read, rehearse, and perform the dramatic works of William Shakespeare. Students will participate in daily physical and vocal warm ups, learn how an actor uses verse, play theater games, and perform both a monologue and scene at the end of the course for family and friends.  For anyone interested in the world’s greatest dramatist this is an opportunity not to be missed! ................. $200

 

 

 


Session #3

NYC Theater Trip

August 10-15th

Six days and five nights in the city that never sleeps.  Students will see American theater at its finest on Broadway and Off, explore the neighborhoods of the five boroughs, visit the acclaimed Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, sit in on a panel of NYC working actors, and perform on an off-off Broadway stage.
