Biography

A troubling paradox is that the high school imagination is constantly being bombarded with information and is very rarely actually used.  The performing arts are a healthy, productive, and fun way to re-awaken this innate ability to CREATE.  By practicing artistic curiosity, students learn not only how to become more complete performers, but more complete human beings.

The Young Artists Lab is a summer workshop for any high school aged student interested in the visual and performing arts. The "Lab" is a place for quality artistic instruction for all students without limitation of ability, experience, income, or any of the other excuses that keep us from stretching ourselves.

We foster our students with the confidence and context to not only perform on-stage in front of a living and breathing audience, but to express their opinions about the world off-stage with creativity and passion.
